Friends who cook are awesome, for obvious reasons... Friends who cook delicious food and decide to open a cafe are in some kind of stratosphere of awesomeness.
It is therefore with much anticipation - nay, pure excitement - that we await the opening of Lady Bower cafe in Reservoir, Melbourne. As well as being dang proud of our mates who have developed the cafe from scratch, I'm pretty happy about the multi-tasking potential inherent in the whole situation. The prospect of seeing a good friend...who then hands you a great cup of coffee...and then asks if you want a delicious breakfast with your conversation and caffeine? Heaven.
We dropped by for a visit a couple of weeks ago and sampled the spirit of the Lady. And she was a very fine lady at that. Keep your eyes peeled for the grand opening in about a week...More to come!
